Your 2012 Investment
Based on a local needs assessment, UWGW has identified six focus areas for best supporting our community. In order to effectively meet these needs, we collaborate with 20 local non-profit health and human services agencies.
NEED HELP?
If you or someone you know is experiencing a challenging situation and needs assistance – we can help. For 63 years the United Way of Greater Williamsburg has made caring about our community a priority, and that means you!
YOUR CARING IN ACTION
UWGW maximizes your contribution by investing in local, results-driven programs and initiatives that focus on long-term solutions to our community’s most pressing needs. Since 1949, our accountability standards have been based upon models of transparency and efficiency.
UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING
Looking for an opportunity to give back? 2013 Day of Caring will be held in mid-September. Meanwhile, there are plenty of on-going opportunities to volunteer in the community. Find out more: www.volunteerwilliamsburg.org
We believe that United Way’s performance in fund-raising is a vote of confidence from our donors for the IMPACT we are making in our Community.–Marshall Warner, 2010 Campaign Chair, 2012-13 Board President
