Pastor Bill Harmon of the King of Glory Lutheran Church presented a check to Sharon Gibson-Ellis, Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Williamsburg and Becki Wildenberger, Manager of the new Community Resource Center. The presentation was made at the recent Open House for the CRC. The donation is to assist in the provision of client services like food, clothing, utilities and housing. The CRC is the part of the UWGW that interfaces with clients. The King of Glory church is located on Long Hill Road and maintains a special Mission/Outreach Fund which is used, in part, to help the hungry and homeless in our community. The following Monday 70 coats from the KOG Congregation were delivered to the UWGW/CRC.
