United Way of Greater Williamsburg has opportunities to serve on a working committee. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity where you get to network with other professionals, use your professional experiences and skills, and serve the community. MARKETING COMMITTEE
The Marketing Committee is responsible for all aspects of marketing for UWGW. They meet monthly and work on advertising, speaking engagements, collateral materials, and other marketing and communications tasks. This is a great group of people who are looking for others with talents to join them.

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
The CI committee meets from Jan through late March and review grant proposals from community organizations who are asking for UWGW support. Committee members review proposals, conduct site visits, hear presentations and make recommendations on grants for the 2012 year. This is a great way to learn about your community!
