- Day of Caring in 2012
2012 Day of Caring: Friday, September 14th. Thank you sponsors, volunteer teams & individuals!! Day of Caring 2012 was a huge success with over 50 projects being assigned to over 500 caring volunteers!! The day was beautiful – - weather was perfect for getting jobs done inside and outside. Volunteers met at the check-in tent, located at 5400 Discovery Park Blvd, Newtown for breakfast, photo ops & getting to know everyone involved in making things happen. Throughout the day, the Logistics Team and Volunteer Photographers and Videographer visited the project sites with encouraging words, thanks, snacks and water. At the end of the day, all volunteers were invited to Legacy Hall/Sullivan Square for dinner, live music, games of corn hole and children’s activities led by the Girl Scouts. Please view our video to see the highlights. Thank you to KeithReagan.com for putting the video of the day together so we could all enjoy it at the Night of Gratitude After Party!!
