Community Investment Process

One of the primary missions of The United Way of Greater Williamsburg (UWGW) is to manage and distribute donor funds to community service programs. This distribution process, or “Community Investment Process,” occurs annually and involves intensive collaboration between the United Way of Greater Williamsburg leadership, volunteers on the Community Investment Committee, and community service agencies. The nature of this process reflects the United Way’s commitment to: “Integrity, Inclusiveness, Volunteerism, Collaborative Leadership and Measurable Impact.”

The United Way of Greater Williamsburg is preparing for its 2016-2017 grant cycle. If you are considering applying for a grant, contact Liz at the United Way at liz.parman@uwgw.org for information about grant application training.
